どんなジャンルの音楽でも、エリントン/ストレイホーンのオーケストレイションとエリントニアンのプレイでエリントン・サウンドになるところがマジックですが、クライマックスの Dance of the Floreadores（花のワルツ）も４ビートで演奏するところは納得です。
尚、アルバムを通してエリントン自身のピアノは登場しません。
国内盤CDバージョンは、アルバム「Peer Gynt Suite/Suite Thursday」とのコンピ。
