スコッティ・バーンハート君が率いるベイシー・バンドのライブを収録した２枚組CDアルバム。
1950年代のホームグランドとも言えるバードランドで、アトミック時代の定番ナンバーも含めたお馴染みの曲が盛りだくさんですから、ベイシー・フリークにとっては嬉しいステージですね。
ゲスト出演した御年75歳のブッチ・マイルスが２曲だけ叩いてますが、現役時代のブッチ君の見せ場だった Whirly Bird ではないのは、さすがに体力的な問題か？
ラストは One O'Clock Jump で終わってますが、アンコールが何だったか興味あるところ。
（もちろん Jumpin' At The Woodside だとは思いますが・・・笑）
いかにもワンポイント・マイク収録のような録音音響はちょっと迫力不足で、やはりジャズ・クラブでのフルバンドは生で聴きたいです。

スコッティ・バーンハートのトランペット・ソロをフューチャーしたスインギーなスタンダード・ナンバーで、バッキングのアレンジも彼自身。
後半の There Will Never Be Another You もですが、ファンキーなパツラで縦横無尽に躍動するバーンハート君は、往年のクラーク・テリーを彷彿させますね。
