同年２月にベイシー・バンドとの共演アルバムを残している女性シンガーのテレサ・ブリューワーが、
今度はエリントン・バンドとの共演アルバムを作ると言う恐れを知らぬ勢いを見せるアルバム。
個人的には最もエリントン・バンドに似合わないシンガーではないかと思うのですが、先入観無しに
聴けばゴージャスなエリントン・サウンドを聴かせるオシャレなバンドをバックにした楽しいボーカル・
アルバムとも言えますね。
リズム・セクションのみのバックによるTulip or Turnipを含む３曲は、男性ボーカルのバニー・ブリグス
とのデュエット。
右ジャケットはCDバージョン。

オープニング・パンチはやっぱこの曲。
ボーカル曲としてのエリントン・ナンバーの中でノリの良さは筆頭です。
