ドラマーのビル・オコンネルが率いるビッグバンドによるネスティコ曲集。
お馴染みのベイシー/ネスティコ・ナンバーを難しい事抜きに学バン的なノリで聴かせるアルバムですが、個人的にはビッグバンド・ドラムにもう少しメリハリが欲しいです。
アップテンポの曲が元ネタよりヒートアップする傾向は、ドラマーがリーダーのバンドに有りがちなパターンかも。笑
尚、The Chicago Skyliners Big Band との関係についてはよく判りません。
